A DEMONSTRATION saw scores of postcards sent to the county council calling on it not to allow fracking in Hampshire.

Gosport and Fareham Friends of the Earth held the protest in West Street, Fareham. Member Norman Pasley said: ‘We don’t need fracking for many reasons. It adds to climate change, uses vast amounts of water, risks polluting air and groundwater and it could delay investment in renewable energy.’
