The Water Festival was a wow with up to 15k visitors from all across Hampshire and West Sussex
Temporary fountain - it looked very good even if it was not very energy sustainable.
Our stand must have had almost 200; we handed out loads of literature, recruited new members and over 50 signed from 10 councils up to the get serious about CO2 campaign.
Visitors to the FoE stand
Havant Council were delighted as were most of the 50 or exhibitors. It was wonderful to see whole families coming on to the stands from WWF, RSPB, the Wildlife Trusts. Environment Agency and numerous conservation and recycling groups.
The HWT stall
As always it’s a team thing and for this it was a team of Jim, Richard and Francis, Patricia, Jenny and Sue, Sophie and JP, Terry and Peter, plus some help from Portsmouth FOE and visitors from Gosport and Fareham FOE, New Forest and Winchester FOE.
