HAVANT is going greener in a bid to save the planet.

The town’s two leading environmental groups, Havant Friends of the Earth and Transition Network, have teamed up with Havant Borough Council to present a week of green activities in June.

Plans are under way for Havant Goes Greener which include cycle rides, walks, a campaign to encourage people to shop locally and a specially commissioned play about the environment performed at The Spring. It culminates in a green fair in Havant Park on 23rd June.
