VOLUNTEERS will be invited to join a project that is rejuvenating a stream

Kevin Dewitt, from Ground Work Solent, will be at the Havant Goes Greener Family Fair in Havant Park, tomorrow.

The fair is a free event celebrating the environment with activities for children, live music, stalls, food, demonstrations, competitions and fun for the whole family.

Mr Dewitt said he will be encouraging people to sign up as volunteers to learn more about the stream and help keep it clean and safe

He added: ‘I’m looking forward to the Havant Goes Greener Fair. It’s an opportunity to get people interested.

‘Our volunteers help look after the streams by litter-picking and footpath maintenance.’

The fun is from 10am until 4pm and there is a wide programme of activities throughout the day, including circus skills.
